Housed in a late 15th century timber-framed building that was formerly the White Horse Inn, the Cambridge & County Folk Museum takes a nostalgic, warm-hearted look at the everyday lives of people from Cambridge and the surrounding area from 1700 onwards. Topics include crafts & trades, town & gown, witchbottles, skating and eels, and throughout the year themed talks and exhibitions take place. The Museum Shop stocks an interesting range of games and puzzles, books and many other items that make ideal Christmas stocking fillers, all with a nostalgic feel.
