Situated on the junction of the A12 and A1120 roads just
north of Ipswich, in the attractive Suffolk village of Yoxford, Suffolk
House Antiques was established more than 15 years
ago by Andrew Singleton. One of the country's leading dealers in early oak,
walnut and country furniture, the shop boasts nine showrooms and stock stretches
to more than 300 pieces.
Prices range from under £100 to over £50,000.
Andrew, as a long-standing member of the British Antiques Dealers Association,
has supplied pieces to many of the leading collectors of early furniture in the
UK and abroad.
Most items of early furniture can be found here dressers,
cupboards, chests of drawers, boxes and coffers and tables and chairs. The
`miscellaneous' collection includes stools, settles and bureaux as well as
metalwork and carvings, and there is also a range of mirrors, ceramics (mostly
Delftware) and tapestries. Andrew is always happy to search for particular
pieces for clients. Parking is available, or clients can be collected from
nearby Darsham Station. Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
10am-1pm and 2.15pm - 5.15pm, or at other times by appointment.
