On two brightly lit floors of a glass-fronted shop close to
the centre of town, Butterflies stocks an excellent selection of smart womens'
outfits for all occasions. Owner Pam Bonnett also keeps a popular range of hats
and other accessories, including scarves and jewellery. Pam's policy is to
stock only a small number of each main item (sometimes just one), which ensures
that the choice of costume is often unique to each customer. Hats and evening
wear are available to hire as well as buy. Opening hours are 9.30am to 5pm
(Saturday to 4.30pm, closed Wednesday).
