For more than 100 years J Sidebotham & Son
has been catering consistently and with total reliability for all their customers' jewellery needs. Pat Holland, who runs the firm with
her husband and three staff, has seen the gradual growth of the business since she joined it
in 1985. Certificated diamonds are a speciality, and Pat
and her team have established a fine reputation for
making high-quality bespoke pieces for individual commissions.
Pat is a great enthusiast as well as a skilled
technician, and there's nothing she likes more than to fire
her customers with excitement and interest in the properties
of precious metals and gems and the techniques involved
in turning them into beautiful objects to treasure.
Personal service is very much part of the
philosophy, and Pat and her team are always on hand with
help and advice perhaps on tracking down or
making exactly the right piece to set off a special
outfit. The shop also stocks a selection of gold
and silver objects, pewter, clocks and watches.
