Norman and Margaret Coffey, both Lincolnshire-born, owned a jewellery
shop in Grimsby before coming here, first to manage and then to own the
Old Maltings Antiques Centre. In the
two-storey converted Victorian maltings up to 30 dealers sell a wide range of
furniture (mainly Victorian and Edwardian), bric-a-brac and collectables at all prices,
including silver, glass and ceramics.
Norman and Margaret have an antique jewellery shop at the entrance to
the Centre, and they also provide a pine-door stripping service and a
house-clearing service. The stock changes all the time,
so every visit will offer excellent browsing and lots of new things to buy. Opening
hours are 10am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, 10am to
5pm Saturday; closed Sundays and Bank Holidays.
