It is surrounded by parkland in which cows and calves graze all summer and there's also a small flock of pedigree Lincoln Longwool sheep which lamb in April. Other traditional farm animals at home here are horses, cats and dogs and chickens to lay eggs for breakfast. Your hosts at Baumber Park are Clare Harrison, who looks after her bed & breakfast guests, and husband Michael who runs the adjoining farm.

Clare is also an accomplished horticulturalist who propogates and sells some plants from the well-stocked garden. The accommodation comprises three guest bedrooms two are spacious with bay windows giving excellent views over the garden and farmland. The third bedroom is a double with a lovely big new en suite bathroom and with views onto the farm. All rooms have antique furniture, portable TV, radio and hospitality tray. Downstairs is a large guest lounge with open log fire, piano and TV, and a dining room with a big mahogany table and a collection of Lincolnshire books. Guests also have the use of a grass tennis court.
