An old granary in the village of Swineshead, sited at the junction
of the A17 and the A52 has been renovated and converted to
provide 2,000 square feet of display space for showing contemporary art.
Arts Coritani opened its doors in August 2002 and the
honour of the first exhibition fell to Lincolnshire's best known
and respected living artist, Andrzej Kuhn: 90% of his work sold on
the opening day. The Gallery is available for hire
to selected artists and the owners welcome contact
by progressive artists and collectors. The East
Coast Artists Group of about 12 professional artists
is associated with the Gallery; their work is available
for exchange exhibitions in galleries in other parts of
the world.
Arts Coritani is developing an interest in all
aspects of computer arts and New Media, and the site has
an IT room and an acre of park for outdoor events
and displays.
