Wood stripping and renovations are amongst the specialities of
Frankland's Yard and antiques centre, where owner and founder Mick Frankland and colleagues are always on hand to
help and advise. The yard and shop are a paradise for lovers of beautiful, interesting and
unique pieces of furniture and other collectables, including a fascinating assortment of household
and garden items. Traditional country pine, oak and `one offs'
are Frankland's forté. Additionally, a good selection of stripped
period doors and fittings are always in stock.
The yard strips up to 50 doors alone each week, but the
dip method of paint stripping is also applied to many other items
and can be offered as part of a complete restoration service
of customer's old pine furniture. Providing good old
fashioned service with no airs or graces, Frankland's Yard
is conveniently located in the heart of Kettering
town. Local collections and deliveries can be arranged.
