Corner Farm Antiques is a well-established family
antiques business which operates from delightful converted
farm buildings 4 miles south of the market town of Newport. In
a prominent position, situated on the main A41, they
are leading antiques retailers and offer by far the largest
choice of furniture and clocks in Shropshire. Moreover everything
is available at realistic, affordable prices.
Owner Tim Dams together with his manager Tim Gittins,
who heads a team of highly qualified craftsmen, provide the
perfect combination of experience and expertise which is
unequalled. Their proud boast is that no-one can match their extensive
range of clean quality stock nor offer better service or value for
money. With over 500 items of specially chosen furniture and clocks
the complex opens up like a tardis to reveal an Aladdins cave for you
to browse and enjoy in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The main specialities are dining furniture, period oak,
longcase (grandfather) clocks, other clocks and barometers. Within the
12 carpeted showrooms are individual room settings showing off the
vast selection of dining tables, sets of chairs, sideboards,
chiffoniers, bookcases, bureaux, cabinets, desks, chests of drawers,
dressers, mirrors, all complemented by a multitude of accessories. Over
1,000 individual smaller items include lovely china and glass, boxes
and caddies, copper and brass and other desirable collectables.
The choice of clocks and barometers has to be seen to
be believed. Over 200, yes 200, all thoroughly overhauled and ready
for you to use and enjoy. Over 60 longcase clocks from £1,800
to £18,000! Each is fully guaranteed and ready to be delivered and
set up in your home by their professionals.
Visitors can take a break from browsing by relaxing in the
attractive tea room, or sitting outside in the gardens. Take the family
along, there's a children's play area with swings and slide and a menagerie
with birds, rabbits and guinea pigs.
There's a big turnover of stock in all categories, so customers can be sure that
they will find many pieces that were not there on their last visit. Corner Farm Antiques is
