Clifton Cruisers is a family-run business based at Clifton
Wharf on the North Oxford Canal, from where the Garfield
family offer canal holidays with a choice of day trips, short
breaks, weeks, romantic weekends, Christmas trips and
longer bookings of up to two months. The boats are
individually designed for comfort, with a very varied choice of layout
and accommodation to satisfy the requirements of most family
and other holiday groups. All have centre ropes for easy
mooring, radiator central heating, fridge/freezer, gas hob, oven and
grill, microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery, bed linen
as required, TV and DVD player, radio/CD player or
radio/tape player, hairdryer and 240 and 12V sockets.
All the boats come ready to go, with no hidden extras for diesel, gas or car parking.
Clifton Cruisers will give full handover instructions to the British Marine federation standard and are
also happy to provide a `driving lesson' and full lock instruction. Along with canal etiquette
and advice on routes and key times. The base on the North Oxford Canal is convenient for
the Warwickshire Ring, the Ashby and Grand Union Canals and the Grand Union Leicester
Arm. Warwickshire boasts some really beautiful countryside, and the major tourist attractions such
as Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle and Coventry Cathedral are within easy reach.
