In 1642 Southam, on the River Itchen, saw the
first skirmishes of the English Civil War. Things have
been much more relaxed since those far-off days, and there
is no more pleasant and inviting place to visit than
The Fragrant Room. Owner Jan Watts personally sources
a wide range of fragrant things for the home, including
pots pourris and candles in all shapes and sizes and fragrance oils. Also among the stock
are costume and silver jewellery, New World CDs for relaxation, lovely silk scarves by Lucy
Harper, greetings cards (some handmade), wrapping paper and Tisserand Lavender products.
