The motto of Blue-Ginger is `arts, crafts and inspirational ideas', and a visit promises a real
treat for the senses. A converted barn in the grounds of a 16th century farmhouse houses an
eclectic array of the work of British and international artists, with a special emphasis on local talent.
The collections include ceramics and pottery, paintings and prints, textiles, glass, wood
and jewellery. Within the gallery is a friendly, relaxed coffee shop where visitors can enjoy
Fairtrade tea and coffee, homemade cakes and light savouries.
Hands-on owner Sue Lim organises an ongoing programme
of craft workshops and courses. Home End Farm has two
delightful B&B rooms for holiday visitors to the area, and these are
also available for workshop participants.
Blue-Ginger enjoys a pleasant rural setting on the A4103
at Cradley, four miles from Malvern and 10 from Worcester.
Opening hours are 10am to 5.30pm Wednesday to Sunday (late
night opening Friday to 8pm). Close Jan and Feb.
