Sixteen dealers under one roof regale visitors
to Foley House with a fine range of
affordable quality antiques, furnishings, books
and collectables. The handsome Georgian house on the A449 in the centre of Great Malvern
was home in the years around the Second World War to a famous marionette company; it acquired
its current role in 2003, when dealers moved
mainly from the former Malvern Links Antiques Centre.
In eight rooms on three floors, the stock includes 18th to 20th century furniture,
decorative antiques, jewellery, silver, tea sets,
clocks, mirrors, porcelain, china, books and toys.
Foley House will carry out restoration work including
French polishing and upholstery work, and will deliver nationwide; it also undertakes
valuations for insurance and probate. Opening hours are 10
to 5.30 Monday to Saturday, 11 to 5 Sunday. The excellent website is regularly updated
with examples of the constantly changing stock.
