Built in the neo-classical style in the mid-1700s,
Bruckless House is set in 18 acres of gardens and parkland
stretching down to the shores of Bruckless Bay. In this
wonderfully peaceful location, the house offers elegant interiors,
spacious award-winning gardens, a busy Connemara pony stable
and friendly farm animals. Bruckless House is the family home
of Joan and Clive Evans who bought the property in 1973
and since 1984 have been welcoming guests to their
tranquil refuge.
There are four guest bedrooms (one double; one twin;
two singles); bathrooms are available en suite; and guests
are welcome from April to September each year. As well as
offering quality bed & breakfast accommodation in the main
house, self-catering accommodation is also available all year
round in Bruckless House Gate Lodge. The house is comprised
of four rooms in total: a living room/kitchen with an
open fireplace, a full sized bathroom and two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with
two single beds. A TV is provided and all rooms have electric storage heating. The Gate Lodge is
surrounded by its own garden just off the main driveway to the house.
