Want to feel like a Lord or Lady of the Manor? If you do, Blessingbourne Apartments will provide the perfect setting. Winners of the Rural Cottage Holiday of the Year Award, 2003, the apartments are grouped around a courtyard of the stately main house which stands in 550 acres of beautiful grounds on the edge of the Fermanagh lakelands. Visitors share the grounds with a veritable menagerie of wildlife, including peacocks, chickens, ponies and working dairy cows they help the local creamery make great cheese.

The 4 apartments can sleep 4-5 people, are very tastefully decorated with lots of local crafts and are equipped to a high standard with DVDs, CD players, microwaves and so on. Arriving visitors find home-made goodies waiting for them, amongst them home-made bread and traybakes. Owners Colleen and Nicholas Lowry welcome children who can run around without a care in the world "We are famous for getting children muddy!" says Colleen. Pets, too, are welcome. From the apartments it's just a short walk to the local village with its lively pubs, hotel restaurant and a range of interesting shops, including an art gallery, antiques and craft shops.
