For more than a quarter of a century The Celtic Shop on Clifden's Main Street has been a popular choice for visitors with a discerning eye for quality Irish crafts and giftware. The range on offer is enormous, amongst the large selection you will find Waterford Irish Crystal, Belleek China, Genesis Fine Arts, Newbridge Silverware, and clothing labels such as Avoca Handweavers and Carraig Donn, together with many beautiful accessories. Other options include handmade pottery, pewter giftware, local Connemara marble, and an interesting variety of music related items - from CDs and tapes, to Bodhrans and tin whistles. There is also a good choice of books, most of them with an Irish dimension.

Incorporated within the Celtic Shop is Tara Jewellers which offers a superb selection of gold and silver jewellery, with a strong emphasis on Celtic design and more traditional designs such as the Claddagh Ring, which is available in silver, 9ct, 14ct and 18ct gold.
