Located about three miles west of Clifden Town, Ardmore House enjoys a superb position, set amidst a rugged landscape overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Bord Failte Approved and awarded 4 Diamonds by the AA, Ardmore is the home of John and Cathy Mullen, a friendly and welcoming couple who do all they can to make visitors feel at home. Their smallholding stretches from the upper Sky Road to the lower Sky Road and on out to the cliffs known locally as the Slopers. Here, the Mullens have made a walkway for their guests "The views from the Slopers," they say, "are some of the best you'll find in the country".

The accommodation at Ardmore is especially comfortable - all bedrooms are tastefully furnished and individually decorated, and equipped with hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities and TVs. Some rooms have king & queen size beds. Visitors will find plenty to see and do in the area - Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey are both close by and, for the active, there's a choice of golf, horse riding, pony trekking, fishing and the Clifden Walking Centre.  Ardmore House is open from Easter until 1st October.
