Riding and riding lessons for young or old on sure-footed Connemara ponies are on offer at Errislannan Manor Riding Centre on the unspoilt Errislannan peninsula. In summer homebred ponies are available for one or two-hour treks across heather moors and hills with glorious views. Owners Stephanie Brooks and her daughter Siobhan also offer Ponycraft days and residential children's holidays. Within the extensive grounds there's a large lake with trout fishing available; gardens open under the RHSI Gardens for Charity scheme; and light refreshments are available.
