"Come wrap yourself in beauty" is the enticing invitation extended by Denise and Ken Mould whose delightful guest house, Blue Merles, has won awards three years in a row from 2002 to 2004. The house nestles on the Caha Mountains with glorious panoramic views of Kenmare Bay, Macgillycuddy Reeks and Dinish Island. As well as bed & breakfast, Blue Merles also offers excellent three course dinners with fresh fish always available. Meals are served in the dining room which enjoys those grand views as do the lovely gardens. Guests also have the use of a separate lounge.

Kenmare town with its host of gourmet restaurants, Irish music and dancing is just four miles away and there are more than eight golf courses within easy reach. Within two miles of the house is a horse riding stables and other activities available nearby include sailing, canoeing, kayaking, wind-surfing, hill walking, river, lake and sea fishing, as well as sea trips to see the marine life and seals in the bay. Amongst the many visitor attractions in the area are the Killarney National Park, Muckross House, Garinish Island, Derreen Gardens and Bantry Bay.
