Located in the heart of this ancient market town, Adelphi House is a striking-looking building with pink and white walls and blue curtains and blinds. A combination of bar, off licence and bed & breakfast establishment, Adelphi House is owned and run by Benny and Mary Grogan, a local couple with a wide experience in the hospitality business who extend a genuinely friendly welcome to all their customers and guests. The traditional, well-stocked bar is a great place for lively craic and also serves an excellent pint of Guinness.

 

Smartly furnished and meticulously maintained, Adelphi House has ten comfortable guest bedrooms, five of them with en suite facilities. Just a ten-minute drive from historic Kilkenny town with its numerous visitor attractions, the house provides an ideal base for touring the southeast. There are five golf courses nearby and fishing, shooting and hunting are all available locally.
