Wicklow, the Broomfield Equestrian Centre enjoys a very high reputation amongst riders. Established over 50 years ago, it is owned and run by Pam Horan whose equestrian skills have made it so successful. Broomfield, set in 100 acres, has excellent facilities including indoor and outdoor arenas, cross country courses, trail rides and jumping. The Centre offers tuition at all levels and visitors can choose from a variety of options, trek through the unspoilt countryside of the Wicklow Hills and take lessons to improve their standard of riding. There is excellent accommodation and restaurants in the area as well as facilities for golf, fishing, hill walking and parachute jumping close by.
