The Ginnel Antiques Centre in Harrogate, established in 1986, has always had a reputation for quality datelined antiques. Nominated in the BACA awards for "Best UK Antiques Centre", it houses 50 dealers and a wide range of interesting items, from the first centruy to 1950. The stock includes antique and decorative furniture, metalware, clocks, watches, silver, pottery, porcelain, object d'art, textiles, lace, fans, paintings, prints, antiquities and jewellery. Many dealers in The Ginnel exhibit regularly at national antiques fairs and include some of the country's specialists. There is something for everyone and to suit every budget.

The centre has a lively cafe restaurant on the first floor and is a busy meeting place for dealers and customers. The centre is open six days a week, Monday to Saturday 9.30am-5.30pm, including Bank Holidays. It is also open on selected Sundays to coincide with major antiques fairs in the town. A packing, delivery and shipping service is available to customers. For anyone visiting Harrogate this centre is a "must see" in the town's fashionable Montpellier quarter.
