Quality arts and crafts can be found at the excellent Alex May Gallery, which features the workshop of designer jeweller Carlo Giovanni Verda who runs the gallery with artist Joy Johnson Verda. Featuring the work of several makers including glass by Thomas Petit and ceramics by Jane Adam and Helen Plaxton, with a wide range of original paintings by artists including David Baumforth and Rosemary Abrahams, together with Carlo's unique range of fine jewellery in silver and gold.
