Situated in the picturesque village of Rosedale Abbey and surrounded by the rolling hills of the North York Moors, Abbey Tearooms & Gifts is a very pleasant place to relax over a refreshing hot drink and snack or shop for provisions or gifts. Open throughout the year, the tearooms and shop provide some excellent fare (all freshly produced on the premises) home-made soups, five different kinds of scones and home-made cakes. The pavlova and meringues come highly recommended. Catering for the many walkers and visitors that frequent the area, the tearooms and shop prepare a vast selection of cakes, pastries and fresh sandwiches or snacks all at very reasonable prices.
