Singled out as one of the 50 best cheese shops in the country and one of the 10 best in the North by The Independent in September 2004, The Bay Tree Deli Café stocks some 60+ cheeses from Britain and Europe. Here you will also find an impressive and mouth-watering selection of charcuterie items together with a wide range of olives and antipasti. Olive oils, salad dressings, mustards, preserves, coffees, ice creams, pastas and much more - this well-stocked and superior deli has it all.

Owner Lesley Cox has been sourcing and selling the very best produce for a number of years, and takes pride in the quality of her wares and the service she and her friendly, knowledgeable staff have to offer. Upstairs there's a cosy and welcoming café where you can rest your feet during a day exploring Bawtry and savour what the menu has to offer, such as homemade soups, hot and cold meals, sandwiches and snacks. The café is licensed so you can also enjoy a glass of wine with your meal. Lesley is happy to make up hampers to order for a picnic or as a gift for that special occasion. Open: Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
