Everything here is done with great style with lots of stained glass, light-coloured oak, ceramic tiles and modern lighting. The delicatessen area is on the ground floor and is stocked with a vast range of products. Amongst the speciality cheeses are Mrs Appleby's Cheshire Cheese and Blue Cheshire, along with Irish and Italian varieties. Then there are the olives, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes and balsamic onions; a wide selection of meats including Italian and Polish salamis; and a daily changing selection of `Patchwork Pâtés' such as duck liver, apricot and brandy. From the ground floor, a fine oak staircase leads to the first floor coffee bar which serves an appetising choice of salads (salami, brie & cranberry, perhaps), sandwiches and filled croissants and bagels, along with freshly ground coffee and a variety of teas. Everything on the menu is prepared to order, attractively presented and served with a smile. And if you are having a special occasion or function in the near future, Delikatessa can supply you with a really tasty and interesting selection of food.
