Conveniently located just a quarter of a mile from junction 19 of the M6, Holly Tree Farm Shop was established in 1992 by Karol and Michael Bailey with the dream of supplying quality produce, reared and prepared on their farm, direct to the consumer. Since then they have collected a flock of awards for products such as their `Northern Pork Pillows" made from pork tenderloin with Bury black puddings and Cox's apple marinated in wine.

Their gluten-free British Bulldogs and Sicilian lamb sausages have also received awards. Karolwas also runner-up in the Woman Farmer of the Year competition; the business won the Made in Cheshire Rural Enterprise Award 2002/2003 and, perhaps the most prestigious accolade of all, they were acclaimed by Rick Stein as one of his Food Heroes. In addition to their own meats, which are all free from routine drugs, growth promoters and other additives, the farm shop stocks produce from other local suppliers who maintain the same high standards of animal welfare. A recent addition to the farm shop's amenities is Mother Goose's Tea Room which offers an appetising choice that includes scrumptious home-made scones and soups, light meals and delicious cakes.
