Barney's has two entrances: one takes you into the newsagents; the other, named Call The Wild, is devoted to the theme of wildlife with a huge range of items such as ceramics, children's toys, teddy bears, wildlife toys, clothing, music and more. Owners William Livesey and Linda Perren have devoted most of the top floor to its incredible range of jigsaws. There are more than 4,000 different puzzles to choose from, including a range of Lake District jigsaws, some of them from their own designs. There are jigsaws for children and ones for the real expert _ the largest is composed of 18,000 pieces. A catalogue is available and Barney's also operates a mail order service.
