Located in the centre of Coniston, The Yewdale Hotel is an impressive Victorian building dating from 1896 and once used as part guest house and part bank. It's now a friendly family-run hotel offering comfortable accommodation in eight centrally heated bedrooms with TV, en suite facilities and hospitality tray. An excellent Cumbrian breakfast gets the day off to a good start. In the bar and dining room, fresh seasonal produce features on a varied menu that includes plenty of choice for vegetarians as well as children's dishes. In addition, an extended bar menu is offered daily between 12 noon and 9pm.
