Hotel Guide, New House Farm is situated in the beautiful
Buttermere Valley in the northwest corner of the Lake District
National Park. The house dates back to 1650 when it was part
of Lord Egremont's Cumberland estate. Although, the original

rating and is located, says Hazel, "in the real Lake
District, with all the peace and beauty without the
crowds". Many guests stay on a bed, breakfast and dinner

Solway shrimps followed by Pheasant cooked in cider. Adjacent
to New House Farm is The Barn Tearooms, a gorgeous stone
