The first thing you notice in the shop is the wonderful aroma emanating from the gorgeous scented candles made locally in Waddington. The ground floor contains lots of lovely hand-made lavender-filled hearts, stainless steel tableware from Culinary Concepts which make fabulous gifts. Hand-painted mugs and jugs, locally-made hand-embroidered wall hangings, books, stationary and contemporary silver jewellery by Pistachio. In the potting shed at the rear you will find great garden gift ideas such as anti bug mugs, wallsconces, planters, plants in a bag and fabulous painted iron garden furniture. The stock is displayed on French and Gustavian-style painted furniture (which is also for sale), alongside smaller pieces that Sarah paints herself using the Malabar paint range stocked in the shop. The first floor houses a magnificent Bordeaux-style bed, wonderful cotton quilted bedspreads and woollen throws, and a small range of fabrics, pretty table lamps and cushions. Also upstairs is the kitchen area with colourful enamelware from Garden Trading and Chandlers, and superb accessories such as bright ironing board covers, peg bags and laundry bags from Greengate and Cally & Co.
