No visit to Arran is complete without a visit to the Ardshiel Gallery in Whiting Bay. Located 200 yards up Smiddy Brae, it has been open for over four years, and during that time it has featured the work of many artists. Usually it showcases ten to 12 artists at a time, and also features superb ceramics and small items of jewellery. It hosts five seasonal exhibitions each year, the longest being from July to September. You just cannot afford to miss the superb works of art on offer here, all at realistic prices.
