Eloise

26 Hunter Street, Kirkcaldy, Fife KY1 1ED

Tel: 01592 643147

Eloise is a fascinating shop in Kirkcaldy that sells high fashion lingerie, jewellery, designer shoes and handbags, furniture, lamps and mirrors. It also sells children's jewellery, crystals and glassware, and there is an in-shop coffee house serving delicious coffees and teas. The place is ideal for browsing, and for buying a present for a loved one or souvenir of your trip to Scotland.

It is run and managed by Louise Canny, who has brought a wealth of experience in the retail trade to the shop. In fact, she started her "career" when she was ten years old, buying and selling antiques, and she opened her first shop when she was 16! Since then she has always been determined to offer the best of everything at competitive prices, and scours the country - and souks, bazaars and markets abroad - to source her stock. She won't reveal the names of her suppliers - they come from every continent, are a closely guarded secret, and most of the items are available no-where else in Scotland, something she is very proud of.

Kirkcaldy is a town well worth exploring with a superb shopping centre and people come from all over Scotland to visit Louise's shop. She will gladly admit that she sees no need to open branches in the big cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow - the items she sells attracts people in their droves to the Fife town.
