David Bennett and Son has been trading in Dunblane since 1901, and today its reputation is as high as ever. It has won many awards for the quality of its meat including the gold and silver awards from the Scottish Federation of Meat Traders for its speciality steak pies in 2003, gold in 2004 for its sausages and gold and bronze for its barbeque products in 2005.

For over 20 years, the beef at David Bennett and Son has been sourced locally from one farm ensuring the highest quality linked to competitive prices. The farmer who rears the beef even comes into the shop every Monday morning to check that the quality is being maintained. It is Aberdeen Angus cross and the animals are monitored daily, so traceability and quality of the meat is assured.
