Bibury Trout Farm occupies 18 acres alongside the River Coln in the middle of a village described by William Morris, founder of the Arts & Crafts Movement, as `the most beautiful in England'. Primarily a working farm, it rears over 250,000 trout annually to restock fisheries across the country as well as up to six million eggs and a million fry. Visitors can learn all about rainbow and brown trout while wandering in the lovely surroundings, seeing the main processes including grading and feeding. The `Catch Your own' fishing area allows visitors to do just that (open weekends March to October and local school holidays), and the farm shop sells delicious fresh and smoked trout and pâtés, as well as preserves, ciders, plants, cards, books and gifts.

The Terrace Café is a popular spot to pause for a drink and a snack, and the play area is guaranteed to keep the little ones busy and happy for hours. The Farm stands on the B4425 between Cirencester and Burford. Bibury is a place of many attractions, including Arlington Row and Mill and the Church of St Mary. Opening hours of Bibury Trout Farm are 9am to 6pm (Sunday 10am to 6pm) in summer and 10am to 4pm daily in winter.
