The Chesapeake Mill is a Grade II-listed
building dating from 1820 and built using floor timbers
from the USS frigate Chesapeake, captured during
the American War of 1812. The recently restored mill
is home to some 40 traders, including antique dealers, furniture specialists, interior and
soft furnishing designers, toy and gift dealers and
many more. The mill is open every day except Monday and also includes a pleasant tearoom.
