On Banbury's busy High Street, Lumbers is a
specialist jeweller, silversmith and diamond merchant with
a spacious display area behind its double-fronted,
bay-windowed exterior. Owner Alex Pomerance, a
qualified diamond mounter, has been in the business of
designing and selling jewellery for 25 years, and he and his
local staff are always ready with help and advice for
their customers.
The range of jewellery includes in-house designs,
the Bien collection of wedding rings and the Lady
Heart diamond collection, and all the top names in watchmaking are represented.
Silverware includes trays, candlesticks and gifts
for all occasions. Lumbers undertakes rapid and
reliable repairs to all items of jewellery, engraving work
and valuations. The shop also specialises in clock repairs
_ collecting from the customer, repairing and
delivering and installing back in the customer's home.
