Alison Honour, graduate of Central St Martins School
of Art & Design and Wimbledon School of Art, opened
the Art-File Gallery in October 2004. Her aims were
to introduce clients to the pleasure of buying and
owning contempory art and helping them to personalise
their living space and enhance their work environment.
The art on display in the converted barn space covers
the whole spectrum _ abstract, figurative, still life,
nature, landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes,
sculpture, ceramics, glass, textiles, metals, jewellery
and photography.
Alison, who personally selects all the work on display, offers a unique service in sourcing,
promoting and selling the exciting and innovative work of
artists and designer-makers both new and established to
both private and corporate clients. She and her staff are friendly, motivated and
knowledgeable, opening up the world of contemporary art in a relaxing, stress-free way. The gallery's
superb website provides the option of buying online easily and painlessly.
