of Corsham is a family-run business specialising in
bespoke rings and other top-quality jewellery. The family,
which has been established in business in Corsham for 25
years, includes Daisy, an expert gemmologist, and John,
who can be seen making jewellery for all occasions with
two other craftsmen in the workshop. They have built up
a great reputation for the quality of their work,
which includes the most superb engagement and wedding rings.
Coppins also holds an extensive stock of rare
and unusual gems and undertakes repairs and
evaluations. Corsham is an attractive town, which no less an
authority than Pevsner admired for its ` wealth of good
houses', and visitors should find time to look at the exhibitions
on the wool trade and the mining of Bath stone in
the Tourist Information Centre. But for anyone looking for
a unique piece of jewellery to make a special occasion
even more special, Coppins is definitely the place to visit.
