Reached by a private drive off the B3107 Bradford-on-Avon
to Melksham road, The Beeches Farmhouse provides
luxurious accommodation. The 18th century farmhouse in mellow
local stone has been beautifully restored, offering modern comfort
and amenities while losing nothing of its rustic charm and ambience.
Pauline Stanley and her mother Maureen offer a choice of
b&b or self-catering accommodation. The former comprise double,
twin and family rooms, all with en-suite bath and shower,
TV, radio-alarm, tea/coffee tray, mineral water, fresh fruit and
flowers. Guest Bed & Breakfast bedrooms are in converted farm
buildings, each with its own patio and seating. Each room has its own
door key allowing guests complete feedom to come and go as
they please. Guests can also relax and unwind or plan their day in
a spacious, comfortable lounge. Breakfast is served in a delightful Victorian-style
conservatory overlooking the stream and garden with free range hens and ducks.
In converted barns and farm buildings, the self-catering facility comprises three
two-bedroom cottages in the grounds, with ample dining/living space and well-equipped kitchens. The
cottages are available all year and throughout the winter, including Christmas and the New Year, and
their open log fires will keep you warm and cosy.Two of the cottages can be linked for groups of up
to 10 making this very much the place for the whole family, with a games room and an outside
play area with a slide, ladder, climbing wall and football pitch.
