Pat Samuell and her daughter Clair Bailey opened
Curds & Whey in September 2005 in a flint-faced building on Headcorn's
High Street. They have quickly established a large and
growing clientele with their range of top-quality delicatessen
products. The mouth-watering displays include a wide selection of
English and Continental cheeses, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, cheese-stuffed
baby pumpkins, charcuterie, pâtés, sardines, smoked trout and mackerel, shellfish, jams and
honeys, oils, vinegars and dressings, chocolates, ice creams, juices and cordials. Coffees
and sandwiches are made to order to eat in or take away.
