Home-grown and local produce brings customers from
all over the area to Crockford Bridge Farm
Shop, which is situated on the A318 between Addlestone and
Byfleet. Up to 20 seasonal home-gown crops can be bought
in the shop or picked in the fields, from rhubarb
and asparagus in late spring to summer soft fruits,
summer and autumn vegetables, late-autumn vegetables,
late autumn sweetcorn, squash and pumpkins - and customers can even dig their own Christmas trees!
Owner Caroline Smith and her helpers source
many of the top local suppliers of specialist country
produce, including meat and poultry, cakes and pies,
unusual breads, savouries and delicatessen items,
farmhouse cheeses, pickles, chutneys and preserves. The
farm keeps many beehives and produces its own honey, and a glass-fronted working hive is a
point of great interest in the shop. Five acres on the farm are leased by Wyevale Garden Centres
for the sale of plants, shrubs and garden-related goods. There is a delightful restaurant and
Costa Coffee. The farm shop is open from 9 to 5.30 Monday to Wednesday and from 9 to 6
Thursday to Saturday and from 10 to 5 on Sunday (winter hours alter slightly).
