Easily found on the B2179 between Birdham and West Wittering,
Bramber Plant Centre has quickly become a talking point among keen
gardeners throughout Sussex and Hampshire. General
Manager David Caldecott has been involved in horticulture
for over 20 years, including importing plants from
all over the world. Visitors can choose from a
massive range of top-quality plants produced in the
nursery or sourced from leading overseas growers. A
large selection of specimen trees, shrubs and climbers
is always in stock, including phormiums,
cordylines, acers, holly, bamboo, palms, tree ferns, bay,
box and olive.
The speciality topiaries, for sale or hire,
include lollipops, spirals, hearts and animal and
other figures. The centre also stocks a renowned range
of roses (some 250 items), including climbers, ramblers, old-fashioned shrub roses and many
new varieties by David Austin. The plants are complemented by an extensive range of pots in
fibre clay, glazed, terrazzo and terracotta, stone statuary and planters, sundials and bird baths.
