share owner Karen Wing's passion for good food. Karen and partner Mick, a qualified
chef, stock their farm shop with a mouthwatering array
of traditional farm produce, well-laid out, with plenty
of space for browsing and buying. Prime beef,
pork, lamb and free-range chickens come mainly
from local suppliers, and Karen is also a licensed dealer
in game. Bacon, sausages and pies are the very
best, and quality is apparent throughout the range
of other products, which include cooked meats, cheese, butter, eggs and ice cream, fruit
and vegetables, honey from the South Down Hives, preserves, pickles and chutneys, oils and
vinegars, herbs and spices, pasta, bread and cakes.
Hampers can be made up to order, and there's a free
local delivery service.
The farm shop enjoys a lovely rural setting
along a drive, a mile from Burgess Hill and a mile
from Ditchling Common Country Park. There's ample free parking in the courtyard, and in the
busy summer season the field is opened up to provide more spaces.
