Corwen Manor started in 1839 as the old Union Workhouse.
It was bought by Alan and Sandra Sayer in 1989 and is now
a thriving craft centre with a workshop making candles. The
craft shop has a full range of Welsh gifts, hand made products
from North Wales and a wool shop.
The candle workshop is best known for its wide range
of novelty candles, all made in Wales. So whether you collect
frogs, dogs, cats, pigs, dragons, owls or teddy bears, you're sure
to find them here. There is also a full range of candle-making
and craft supplies on sale, plus a range of love spoons, both
standard or personalised - the perfect gift or souvenir.
There is also a full range of personalised goods for
that special occasion, from candles to gifts. For the fisherman
it stocks a fine selection of tackle and bait for all types of
fishing, such as game, sea and course.
Corwen Manor also has a delightful café selling drinks
and snacks.
So if you're anywhere near Corwen make sure you set
aside plenty of time to take a look at this fine craft centre.
