Lickley's Mount Antiques is situated right next to
County Hall, and has a wide and fascinating range of antiques
set over three floors and nine rooms. Here you can browse
to your heart's content as you examine the many treasures
on offer, all at amazingly affordable prices. From Victorian
and Edwardian fireplaces to blankets from Wales, and
from Eastern rugs to pine cottage and Welsh oak furniture - it
is all here for you to discover.
You will be amazed at the impressive collection of
mining memorabilia that is sure to capture the attention of
any collector, and you will be impressed by the ceramics
and china, as well as the EWWNNY, Clay Pits, Swansea and
Lanelli pottery. If you are furnishing a holiday cottage, for
instance, you can chose from traditional or funky,
contemporary furniture, and you can find wall hangings and plates that
give the place that authentic feel. There is also original art, lighting and textiles, plus those quirky
items found in all antique shops that you can't quite categorise but you know you must have.
The shop is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, except Thursday (9 am to 4
pm). On Sunday it is open between 9 am and 4 pm. So come along and see the vast range of
quality antiques for yourself. The owner, Robert Lickley, or one of his staff, will offer all the help
and advice you need to make a choice.
