Audrey Bull opened her first antiques shop in Cheltenham in 1956
along with her mother Blanche Beck. This shop in Tenby,
Audrey Bull Antiques, opened in 1957, and in 1998 she opened a branch in Carmarthen.
These two delightful shops just have to be visited. They are
now owned by Jane and Jonathan Bull, ably assisted by their daughter
Quita, while their son Matthew manages the restoration workshop. Here
you are free to browse with absolutely no obligation, while at the same
time you will be given all the help and advice you need should you choose
to buy an item. The owners are general antique dealers who specialise
in 19th and 20th century furniture, Welsh oak
pieces, silver, porcelain and jewellery, which includes
antique pieces, gem-set and modern designer
creations. Everything is realistically priced, so why not buy
a souvenir of your trip to Wales, or a special piece
that will surely be treasured down through the years?
The workshop prides itself on repairing and polishing in a way that preserves the
original patination. They do not follow the fashion for
making the furniture match the repair - they make the
repair match the furniture. The shop is open from 9 am -
5 pm Monday to Saturday, and on Sunday during the summer months.
