Standing in the shadow of Pembroke Castle on the North Quay of the town, The Cornstore is an imposing three storey building, which is a physical reminder of the important maritime history of the town. It has recently won a national award for the quality of its` renovation, being a truly historic Eighteenth Century property built upon the foundations of much earlier commercial buildings. Indeed commerce has been conducted upon this site for many hundreds of years. Large schooners would moor at the quayside using the mooring rings set in the walls of the building to exchange cargo for onward transport to Ireland and England.

Today The Cornstore is still a commercial centre featuring a quayside café and innovative accessories for you and your home. Here at The Cornstore we have a simple philosophy, we want to supply superbly designed and made objects for the home, and our customers tell we have succeeded admirably. By designing and commissioning those items directly from our makers we can maintain high quality and reasonable price. So today instead of coming to The Cornstore to purchase Coal, Ale, Grain or Potatoes our customers visit us for inspiration and purchase solid wood, full-hide leather furniture, ceramics, textiles, lighting, jewellery, handbags, images and accessories. Where possible we stock products from local artists which change every season.

The Quayside Café is famed locally for its` Coffee, home cooked Light Lunches and snacks. Our Cakes and Desserts are simply `TO DIE FOR` We use locally sourced ingredients for the daily changing menu which is prepared on the premises. We are proud to have been awarded the Pembrokeshire Produce Mark for the quality of our menu which you can enjoy inside our Café or sit on the quayside to enjoy the enviable views of the Castle as you dine.

The Cornstore is open Monday _ Saturday 10.00 am until 5.00 p.m. and we look forward to offering you something a little different!
