Dolgelley Jewellers, owned and managed
by Margaret Hughes, is one of the best shops of
its kind in Gwynedd. It sells a fabulous range of
gold and silver jewellery, fine clocks and watches
and superb giftware for both men and women. The shop must be visited to be appreciated. It sits
at the heart of the town, right in the town
square, and offers good, old-fashioned friendly,
personal service coupled with efficiency and value
for money prices.
The shop has an `olde worlde' feel about it, with a double window front and
windows crammed with clocks (both traditional and modern), jewellery and a host of other items
that would make superb gifts or souvenirs of your
visit to the Snowdonia National Park. And the interior
is equally as charming, with glass counters,
display cases packed with goods that are charming
and stylish. Whether it is something with a
`traditional' feel to it, or something that is up to the
minute and chic, you'll find it here! So much so that
the shop has a loyal customer base, and people who holiday here return to the shop year after year.
