There are two very different faces to the ever
popular Flipside Jewellery. On the one hand they are the
purveyors of simple and elegant handmade contemporary
jewellery, created on the premises by silversmith Simon Harris
who also makes use of more unusual semi precious crystals
in his designs. Commissions are undertaken in silver,
gold and platinum and Flipside is fast becoming a favourite
for couples looking for extra special wedding rings, as
they can discuss the design process with Simon in an
informal and personal way.
The other renowned face of Flipside is as a
destination for "fabulous, frivolous frippery from far flung corners
of the world". The avid retail therapist receives a
colourful welcome to this magpie's nest overflowing with
bright sparkling goodies and the most disciplined customer will find it hard to walk away
empty handed. They try to fulfil your quest for the perfect gift for that hard-to-buy-for person who
has everything. (A designer fly swatter as an unexpected gift could be the ticket!).
Set in beautiful farm buildings, Flipside is set back from the village centre, overlooking
the harbour and is just a short stroll but there is a car park if the weather is less favourable.
